It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kyle Roley, a beloved resident of Plano, Texas. Kyle was a son, a brother, a partner, a father, and a friend to many.
His sudden passing has left a deep and painful void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though Kyle has left this world, his spirit continues to give. A registered organ donor, Kyle made the selfless decision to donate life even in death.
In accordance with his wishes, his body is being kept alive for the next few days to allow for the successful donation of his organs—an extraordinary final act of compassion that exemplifies the kind of person he was. Through this gift, others will be granted a second chance at life, and Kyle’s legacy will live on in the most meaningful way imaginable.
Kyle was born and raised in Plano and graduated from Plano East Senior High School in 2008. Driven by a desire to serve his country, Kyle joined the United States Marine Corps and served with dedication in Aviation Ordnance from May 30, 2012. He was known for his discipline, loyalty, and deep sense of duty—qualities that shaped his military service and every area of his life.
Outside of his service, Kyle’s greatest joy came from being a father to his 4-year-old daughter, Cara. She adored him completely, and he cherished every moment they shared.
Kyle also had a close-knit bond with his siblings—his sisters, Courtney and Jenney, and his brother, Ian. They remember him as the strong, protective, and fiercely loyal brother who would do anything for his family.
In recent months, Kyle had begun a new chapter with Rachel Hancock, his partner since January 31, 2025. Their love was just beginning to bloom, and the memories they created in their short time together will be treasured always.
Tragically, due to a recent change in employment, Kyle was without health insurance when he became hospitalized. His family is now left with the weight of unexpected and substantial medical expenses. As they grieve, they are also faced with these financial burdens during one of the most difficult times of their lives.
Any contributions to help offset these costs would be met with deep gratitude and love. The Roley family simply wishes to focus on what matters most—honoring Kyle’s life and memory, and being there for his daughter.
Kyle may never have fully realized how deeply he was loved. He was the kind of man who would give without asking, who put others before himself, and who never asked for recognition.
His friends and family remember him for his sharp wit, his strength, and his enormous heart. His laughter, his presence, and his unwavering support will be missed more than words can express.
In the coming days, Kyle’s family hopes to gather with all his friends and loved ones to celebrate his life, share stories, and find comfort in the community he helped build. It is their wish to remember Kyle not just in sadness, but in the light he brought to so many lives.
If you are able to contribute financially or share a message of support, please know that every act of kindness is felt and appreciated deeply.
Kyle Roley served his country, loved his family, and lived his life with honor. Now, even in his passing, he continues to give. May we carry his memory forward with love, pride, and gratitude.
